Shawn Alladio and Fabio Annigoni to Certify Course Marshals at 2010 quakysense World Finals

Shawn Alladio and Fabio Annigoni to Certify Course Marshals at 2010 quakysense World Finals - 17 September 2010

The position of the Course Marshal for racing competitions is an extremely important function of not only safety but officiating, and at times a difficult but personally rewarding position to occupy.

Increasing your operational and situational awareness working with an exceptionally experienced crew can help you reduce or minimize risks and increase your technical abilities.
This is an excellent program available to race promoters staffing positions.
K38 Water Safety and staff will be providing this opportunity for our international partners to participate in the second Course Marshal Training Program for 2008 at the IJSBA World Finals.

Course Date and Locations: October 1-11, 2010 City of Lake Havasu, Arizona Crazy Horse Resort and Campgrounds.
K38 Water Safety has been providing IJSBA race related support and educational programs since 1989 and enjoys support from Kawasaki Motors Corporation employing the use of Jet Skis for our students to better their lifesaving skills. Additional program sponsors: American Watercraft Association, OTB Boots, Mustang Survival, Gath Headgear, K38 GEAR, Liquid Militia, and K38 International.

Course Instructors: Ms. Shawn Alladio and Mr. Fabio Annigoni

Participants will go through various skill sets, training evolutions, field work and gear, communication, racer concerns, towing, patient care, officiating calls, course management, classroom instruction and equipment overviews, and various race course concerns.
Their training will commence on the water and shore based during the event schedule days on a rotation basis.

All equipment will be supplied and study needs as well. Participants will be required to fulfill prerequisite abilities or background knowledge, and be in excellent physical condition and will be required to bring their own PPE.

This is a high risk training program. Participants will receive upon satisfactory completion a ‘certificate of professional development’.
If the participant has not passed the training program, a ‘certificate of attendance’ will be issued.
Participants will also receive a K38-AWA H2O Responder Membership for one year with registration.
Certification is valid for 5 years.
